Out There

Interesting UFO image captures from Australia

Your Out There editor's first impression of this capture was that it was a meteor swarm. But then I looked deeper into this YouTuber's page and found another video of something somewhat similar that is definitely NOT a meteor swarm. So what has he found? This guy is worth watching. Sometimes people who show an interest in what's out there get rewarded with a pretty spectacular display. To see the other, even stranger video, click here. My best guess now is that we are looking at living creatures of some sort. Pretty amazing stuff.

And hey, speaking of pretty amazing, Whitley has published a new novel as an ebook. I got a copy the second I saw his post, and I've just started it. All I can say is THE GUY CAN WRITE. The first couple of chapters are just breathtaking. You can get it on your Kindle, Nook, etc., or from the UC store as a PDF.

Thanks for mentioning my book! On Nook, Kindle or in the iBook store, search Strieber Orenda. Or you can get the PDF here: http://www.nexternal.com/ukcountry/the-secret-of-orenda-p460.aspx

That's awesome! Maybe the folks are there are chatting :)

I think that I would need to know a lot more about how night vision cameras behave to make a really informed comment but I would assume that a moving, slightly reflective object, would create a similar streak to this, if it were lit from below...so is there are reason why these couldn't be birds? You can certainly see the trees at the bottom of the shot and if you look closely, you can see a regular bulge in the reflected path of whatever they are...maybe from a pair of wings?

Anyway, it would be interesting to try and find a capture that was known to be low flying birds lit from below, as a control to compare this against.

At the moment, I'm not convinced either way.
