Viable Non-Polluting Power Source Discovered, But Is It Too Late to Stop Climate Change?

A ground-breaking new energy source has been discovered by a company in New Jersey.

The powerful new water-based fuel could provide a viable alternative for fuel production worldwide, and has already shown proven results in the supply of sustained electricity production.
The power source is known as The BlackLight Process after its inventors, the BlackLight Power, Inc., in Cranbury, NJ, who claim that it will be suitable for use in almost all power applications and will free thermal, electrical, automotive, trucking, rail, marine, aviation, aerospace, and defense systems from the limitations of electrical distribution or fuel infrastructure.

The company was founded by Dr. Randell L. Mills, the author of nine books and owner of received patents or filed patent applications in the following areas: (1) Millsian computational chemical design technology based on Classical Physics (CP), a revolutionary approach to solving atomic and molecular structures; (2) magnetic resonance imaging; (3) Mossbauer cancer therapy (4) Luminide class of drug delivery molecules; (5) genomic sequencing method, and (6) artificial intelligence.

Dr. Mills' latest innovative process involves the release of latent energy from hydrogen atoms by applying a very high current through its proprietary water-based solid fuel in BlackLight Power’s own breakthrough Solid Fuel-Catalyst-Induced-Hydrino-Transition (SF-CIHT) technology. The SF-CIHT cell was invented by Dr. Mills to release this energy directly as electricity from water as the only source of fuel. During the process, the water ignites into brilliant plasma with extraordinary optical power comprising millions of watts of light, that can be converted directly into electricity. The power density is over 1,000,000 times that of any prior controllable reaction, and is an almost perfect spectral equivalent of our Sun, though at 50,000 times the intensity. BlackLight Power has now managed to convert this dazzling plasma into electricity using photovoltaic cells (solar cells), which have been increasingly honed to convert the Sun spectrum into electricity.

The non-polluting power-producing system catalytically converts the hydrogen of the H2O-based solid fuel into a non-polluting product, a previously undiscovered, more stable form of hydrogen that Dr. Mills has called “Hydrino,” by allowing the electrons to fall to smaller radii around the nucleus. This results in an astonishing release of energy 200 times that of burning the equivalent amount of hydrogen with oxygen, with plain water (H2O), serving as the source of hydrogen fuel to form hydrinos and oxygen.

The electrical output power of a central power generation plant is typically 1 billion watts from a boiler 100 million times larger, but BlackLight has now developed a viable system engineering design for an electric generator that, apart from the addition of H2O fuel, is closed and made from easily-sourced components. The new system is able to generate ten million watts of electricity, enough to power ten thousand homes via a device that is less than a cubic foot in volume, and uses inexpensive, abundant, and non-toxic chemicals which guarantee long-term supply and ease of high-volume, commercial manufacture; for example, its power converter is already in mass-production for the solar power industry.

Though increasingly popular, the global development of solar power has been hampered by the low power density of sunlight. The SF-CIHT cell is a comparably inexpensive generating system which has managed to replicate and amplify this power source to a level 50,000 times brighter than natural sunlight. Its ease of application could make it suitable for use in all forms of transportation, in automobiles, freight trucks, rail, marine, aviation, and aerospace, though it is capable of producing energy far in excess of previous fuels: the power density is one million times that of the engine of a Formula One racer, and ten million times that of a jet engine.

The new technology could mean that, in the future, each home would have its own power source, cars would never need to be re-fuelled, and all appliances having their own limitless power source. This amazing invention could revolutionise and solve our future power needs, but the real question here is whether we have left it too late to reverse the effects of climate change. Even if we were to replace all existing fossil-fuelled power sources tomorrow with cleaner alternatives, scientists have revealed this week that our glaciers are already in an irreversible state of meltdown.

Recent evidence has indicated that "a large sector of the West Antarctic ice sheet has gone into a state of irreversible retreat", said lead author of the study, Eric Rignot of the University of California, Irvine, and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

This Antarctic region of could significantly contribute to sea level rise in coming decades and centuries, as its glaciers contain enough ice to raise sea levels by 1.2 meters (4 feet). The scientists believe that an accumulation of man-made greenhouse gases in the atmosphere has affected wind patterns around Antarctica and driven warmer waters towards the continent.

"We do think this is related to climate warming," Rignot said, adding a chilling warning that the damage to the Antarctic environment was permanent: "It's passed the point of no return."

Yet this should not be an excuse for us to "do nothing."
Undaunted by the negative news, Stanford university announced last week that it is divesting its direct holdings from 100 coal companies, and is recommending that its external fund managers follow suit. The Stanford endowment, valued at $18.7 billion, will now become the largest in a growing group of funds to partially divest from fossil fuels.

Stanford is joined in its noble efforts by Dunedin, a town in New Zealand that is so committed to reducing its carbon footprint it has declared itself officially as a "fossil fuel free" zone. Dunedin, which is closer to Antarctica than it is to the United States, voted on Tuesday to remove existing fossil fuel extraction investments—close to $2 million—and prevent future investments in fossil fuels by its $75 million Waripori fund. Dunedin is the first city in New Zealand city to divest itself of fossil fuels for ethical and climate change reasons.

The global warming situation may be irretrievable in some areas, but there is still hope that the process of climate change can at least be slowed down, and with such feasible and practical fossil-free alternatives now available, there is surely no excuse to continue polluting our precious atmosphere. Science has provided both the impetus and the solution, so now global governments need to act swiftly to implement these changes. One thing is certain, if they do not act, mankind is on a steady decline towards environmental disaster and possible extinction.

How long before this is suppressed or discredited by Big Oil.

Wow - I agree with Scott above. I'll bet Big Oil, natural gas, coal producers will get their lawyers to try and suppress this new power if it really works. This story reminds me of an Outer Limits episode where an inventor came out of nowhere offering the US government a new power that would turn water into a way to power everything. He had a magic pill which he dropped down in a beaker full of water. He poured this liquid into a gas tank of a car engine and it ran.

Doesn't have to be discredited by big oil. He hasn't developed a test generator to demonstrate, not even a proof of concept. His theories violate others that seem to better describe the rest of quantum mechanics and the universe in general. You cannot get something for nothing. There is no truly free energy.
Sorry but there is no Santa Claus.

My question is this: water is already becoming a scarce commodity on this planet, how would this work?

@Daniel, actually the universe is teaming with free energy, it's called the zero point field. Now we just need to figure out how to utilize it!

Frankly, this one pegs my bullshit meter well into the red zone. A more stable form of hydrogen called "Hydrino"? The hydrogen atom is one of the best understood objects in the universe (working out the energy levels of its electrons is a basic exercise in quantum mechanics) and the hydrogen molecule (H2) is also very well understood. I'd be willing to bet my house that there's no such substance as Hydrino.

I will now be accused of being a troll for the oil companies.

This certainly adds another layer of motivation behind the current drive of corporations and ruling families to privatize the water commons worldwide.

This is fascinating and I do have some observations and questions which include:

1) The system/method/device shown in the YouTube video is a magneto hydro-dynamic system, which is different than the Solid Fuel-Catalyst-Induced-Hydrino-Transition photonic-generating/photovoltaic-converting system/method/device described in the above article.

2) Are the photovoltaic cells/panels that are used in the device of the rigid silicon-crystal type or the flexible (but lower cost and lower output) thin-film-sprayed-onto-plastic type?

3) In reference to question 2, if the photovoltaic cells/panels are of the silicon type, how is the negative alpha co-efficient of silicon (which tends to lead to an unwanted thermal runaway problem) dealt with?

4) I would think that a 10 Megawatt power source, in each home, would be a potential "bomb" if something went wrong with it or if it was tampered with by the homeowner.

5) I wouldn't call a system that requires superconducting magnets and liquid helium & nitrogen a "very, very simple device."

6) Does anyone know if the January 28th (2014) demonstration mentioned in the video actually happened or not?

Good point.

Just because we are familiar with some of the properties of hydrogen does not mean that we already know *all* of the properties of hydrogen. The anomalous release of so-called extra energy in hydrogen atoms has been previously observed and it does seem related to the release of energy, in the form of heat, as the electrons in hydrogen atoms (one electron per hydrogen atom) drop from a higher to a lower position (relative to the nucleus of each atom of hydrogen). This has been observed in the apparently misnamed "cold fusion" process, which is now better understood as a lattice-assisted nuclear reaction.
