At a recent editorial board meeting with the New Hampshire newspaper The Conway Daily Sun, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton reminisced with a reporter about a conversation they had in 2007, regarding the subject of UFOs. If she is elected president, she said that she would address the issue of disclosure: "Yes, I’m going to get to the bottom of it."

Clinton also said that her campaign chairman, John Podesta, made her promise to address the issue of disclosure: "He has made me personally pledge we are going to get the information out. One way or another. Maybe we could have, like, a task force to go to Area 51."

Podesta, whom has an interest in UFOs, had previously lamented on social media after his retirement as advisor to president Obama that he wasn’t able to release documents on UFOs: "My biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the disclosure of the UFO files."

This is not the first time that the Clinton family has addressed the issue of UFOs: in a 2014 interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Bill Clinton said that he had looked into Area 51, but he said "There are no aliens there."

However, Hillary seems to be more optimistic on the issue, saying, "I think we may have been (visited already). We don’t know for sure," in response to her husband’s comment.
