Scientists have found that spraying an area with acidic ozone water can effectively kill the swine flu, with the advantages that it leaves no environmentally harmful residue. What is this and where can we get it in the future?
Acidic ozone water (AOW) is made from regular tap water mixed with a small amount of acid such as hydrochloric acid, along with an ozonized gas that can be produced in a laboratory (this we can’t make it at home). After deactivating the virus, the substance eventually decays into plain water.Researchers found that they could make regular tap water acidic by mixing a very small amount of hydrochloric acid into the water. Adding just 22 grams of hydrochloric acid to one ton of neutral water can change the pH value of the water from 7 to 4. As the scientists explain, the negative chlorine ions have a sterilizing effect on viruses, and a strong acidity in general also has a sterilizing effect.
Korean chemist Han Uhm says, “AOW may be abundantly available due to its easy preparation. I am not an industrialist, but a scientist. I do not have any specific plan to make it available by myself, but some capable people may do [so]. The AOW may be useful in hospitals, in livestock industries, in dairy farms, in seafood industries, or in agriculture. I initially studied the AOW for protection of mankind from an attack of bio weapons.”
But it’s not a panacea: If AOW becomes the next Lysol spray, the problem would be that the surviving virus would mutate to become immune to it, the same way that bacteria turn into superbugs.
We may need some major help soon: Three flu viruses in the Ukraine have mutated into a single virus which many believe is more dangerous than swine flu. It is spread by sneezing (unlike many viruses, which are spread by touch) and has infected over 1 million people, of which 189 have died.In the Daily Express, Greg Miskiw quotes Ukraine president Viktor Yushchenko as saying, “Unlike similar epidemics in other countries, three causes of serious viral infections came together simultaneously in Ukraine: two seasonal flus and the Californian flu. Virologists conclude that this combination of infections may produce an even more aggressive new virus as a result of mutation. People are dying. The epidemic is killing doctors. This is absolutely inconceivable in the 21st Century.”
