British Astronomer Royal Martin Rees thinks that aliens may be here but only a few people see them because they are invisible to most of us. This goes along with the information that Anne Strieber received from the half a million letters from contactees that she read: In a group of people, one or two would be contacted (or even abducted!), while the others saw (and experienced) nothing unusual.
The Discovery Channel website quotes Rees as saying, "They could be staring us in the face and we just don't recognize them. The problem is that we're looking for something very much like us, assuming that they at least have something like the same mathematics and technology.
"I suspect there could be life and intelligence out there in forms we can't conceive. Just as a chimpanzee can't understand quantum theory, it could be there are aspects of reality that are beyond the capacity of our brains."
Discovery quotes SETI's Frank Drake as saying that satellite TV and the "digital revolution" is making humanity invisible to aliens by cutting the transmission of TV and radio signals into space, since digital signals would look like white noise to a race of observing aliens.
And why do contactees and abductees have so much trouble remembering their Visitor experiences? Researchers have discovered that when our attention is captured by an unexpected event, our brains have trouble paying attention to it and thus are less likely to remember it.
Psychologist Rene Marois says, "The simple example of having your reading interrupted by a fire alarm illustrates a fundamental aspect of attention: what ultimately reaches our awareness and guides our behavior depends on the interaction between goal-directed and stimulus-driven attention. For coherent behavior to emerge, you need these two forms of attention to be coordinated." In other words, we may be temporarily blinded by surprises, which could explain why some people see the Gray in the room, while other people there don't see him at all.
Anne Strieber is starting a series of special interviews, just for subscribers, of abductees and contactees. If you want to know what ET contact is REALLY LIKE, subscribe today. And come talk to Anne in person in June!
