Mars has a dust storm
|
A gigantic dust storm has broken out on Mars during the
opposition, when Mars is closer to the Earth than it has been
since 2003. The storm is so large that it can be seen with a
backyard telescope. Mars was 43 million miles from Earth at
around 8:25 p.m. PST Saturday. UFO activity often increases
during Mars oppositions, and this one has been no exception,
as extensive UFO sightings have been reported over
northern
California and in the UK.
Robert Roy Britt and Tariq Malik report on the NASA website
space.com that the dust storm, which was no more than a
small bright dot Thursday, has blossomed into a large phone
that can easily be seen from the Earth. At the same time,
Wales is reporting numerous UFO sightings, just as California
did last week.
The national website of Wales reports that UFO sightings are
becoming almost commonplace there. The Ministry of Defense
reports that there above has been a new UFO sighting there
every six weeks over the past three years. Some of the
descriptions are: an object with ?legs? spinning in the sky, a
flying disc and a large black, hovering object, reminiscent of
the large, dark triangle-shaped object of the

Lights
sightings
here in the US.
The UK now has its own Freedom of Information Act, which
has revealed that there were seven sightings in Wales in
2002, eight in 2003, four in 2004 and nine so far this year.
Ministry of Defense officer Julie Monk says the identity of the
UFOs is unknown, but Welsh UFO researcher Chris Fowler
says, "Some of them?[are probably] misidentification of
planes, but some of them sound quite interesting. Some of
them, possibly most of them, could be explained away. The
people who pilots report sightings to are?a mixture of civil
and military experts in their fields, so they actually have got
the facilities to look into these things. There are credible
sightings. And either these are ours, which mean we've got
technology far more powerful than the ones we know about,
or they're somebody else's."
