Scott Corrales
reports that Abel Basti, author of "Bariloche Nazi: Hitler
died in Argentina in 1960," claims Hitler escaped from
Germany by submarine and spent his last days in Argentina with
Eva Braun.
It's long been known that many Nazis escaped to South
American countries, including Argentina, but before this, no
one reported that Hitler was one of them. However, there has
always been some suspicion that Hitler escaped. Although it
was reported that he committed suicide, his body was never
found in the ruins of the bunker at the Reich Chancellery.
Basti says he has "eyewitness accounts from qualified people
who were with Hitler in Argentina and who agree with FBI,
British Intelligence, and Argentinean Navy documents
discussing the presence of Nazi subs in the South Atlantic
in July and August 1945?There is more information coming to
light that contradicts the alleged suicide?Furthermore, the
first official reports talk of an escape. In other words,
when the Red Army entered the bunker, Stalin asked for a
confirmation of Hitler's death and the general in charge
says he can't, because there is no body.
"In 1950, two sailors from the Graf Spee, a German vessel
sunk by its own crew on the River Plate, said that they
received at least two submarines in Patagonia on July 28,
1945?We have the proof of the evacuation [of Hitler] and on
the other [hand], the discovery of the sunken subs."
ED. NOTE: The arrival of two submarines at the mouth of the
River Platte in the summer of 1945 has long been a subject
for controversy. But there has never been any serious
evidence that Hitler was on one of them. Nevertheless, this
author claims proof. We will continue to follow this story.
