UFOs have been spotted in Louisiana, South Africa and Chile,
making this a worldwide phenomenon.
Michelle Hunter writes in the Times-Picayune that on May 24,
UFO researchers Joe and Linda Montaldo of Metairie,
Louisiana videotaped a dark, oblong shape with flashing blue,
green, red and yellow lights. They watched the object hover
for 11 minutes over Lake Pontchartrain. Joe Montaldo
says, "When people used to tell me about this, I used to think
they were nuts, but there's just too much evidence out there
from credible people: doctors, lawyers, mayors, firefighters
and police officers? My job is not to convince people that ET
is on the planet. My job is to rule out all the other
explanations? When ET comes up and says, 'Hey Joe, how ya
doing?' I'll be a 100 percent believer."
In IOL News from South Africa, Ayanda Mhlongo quotes
Roshnie Naidu as saying, "The light was so bright, at first I
thought it was a police helicopter searching for criminals. But
when I could not hear the sound of the rotor blades, I
decided to draw the curtains and check what it was.
"It looked like a massive ball of light, much brighter than the
sun, with blue and purple colors filtering through. My eyes
were glued to it for almost 10 minutes, it was unbelievable. I
had never seen anything like it before? After a couple of
seconds, the object would change shape from being circular
to oval."
She woke up her husband, Shrirama, who says, "I immediately
told my wife to call our neighbors and alert them to what was
happening." Shrirama also grabbed her camcorder and
captured video of the object, which remained in the sky for
about three hours.
Scott
Corrales reports that a luminous sphere sailed slowly across
the sky in Chile as it changed colors, bringing the traffic in a
large city to a standstill, as drivers got out of their cars to
get a better look.
The phone lines of the local radio station were jammed. "A
gentleman phoned in from Tres Puentes, in the north, saying
that there was a light that shone intensely. This was the first
call at around 6:30 a.m.. Then people kept calling," says
Claudio Vidal of Radio Polar. "People spent a long time
watching the phenomenon. Folks working at the fisheries
phoned in, and since they usually get home before dawn,
they said that the light has been seen over that same area
for five days straight."
Radio announcer Alfred Vera took photos of the object, but
not all of them came out. He says, "Out of 14 I managed to
recover 4?The photo shows a burning ball, something red,
green, blue."
We can't figure out UFOs, and we haven't decoded
everything here on Earth either, like the
hidden message of a
strange old cross in the town of Hendaye in southern France.
