Another Dreamland listener in Santa Barbara has seen the
Camarillo UFO that Dr. Roger Leir reported about on the
program December 17. This is the UFO that has been seen in
the same area of California in late November or early
December for five years in a row. "Dennis" has written to tell
us the following:
"Oh my God! That?s all I can say after reading about the
sighting on December 17. I saw the same thing in 1992 or
1993 in Santa Barbara. I saw this object just before twilight
at about 80 degrees high in an east-northeast direction.
"It was unusual because it wasn?t dark enough for stars to be
out, so I got out my binoculars to get a better look. My
daughter also saw the objects through the binoculars, and
can corroborate what I?m saying. After I got the spherical
object in focus, it seemed as though it performed for me.
"As soon as I got a good fix on it, I saw a puff of smoke that
ringed the object, then five smaller objects appeared out of
the original one. One of the smaller objects took off at a high
rate of speed to the north, and disappeared in about 20
seconds. Three of the smaller objects stayed in close
proximity to the larger one and seemed to move slowly closer,
then away, in a kind of floating maneuver. I don?t remember
what the 5th object did; it may have moved off in another
direction.
"The objects remained visible for 20 to 30 minutes, and then
seemed to fade. I was completely baffled by what I?d seen.
During the next few days, I called everywhere to try to find
out what I saw. I called news desks, airports, Edwards Air
Force Base, Vandenberg Air Force Base, etc. I never got any
information about my sighting, and have never heard of a
similar sighting until now. I finally feel validated."
There exists video from three years ago of the Camarillo UFO
ejecting lighted objects into the ground.
It?s especially interesting that this listener saw a UFO of the
same description as the one that Ventura Mutual UFO
Network observers have seen for 5 years in a row, but he
saw it 7 to 8 years ago, before it was observed by MUFON
members.
