An aphrodisiac is a substance that increases sexual desire (libido), but not necessarily sexual function. Viagra can’t help ED until a man is "turned on." Lots of surprising things can affect your sex life. Stress is one of the main causes of erectile dysfunction: the cortisol it produces reduces male testosterone. Are there any natural remedies to counteract this that REALLY WORK?

There are a lot of folk remedies–ancient and new–that claim to increase sexual desire AND function, among them Korean ginseng and saffron. Ginseng probably works the same way Viagra does, by relaxing muscles and improving blood flow to the genital region. In LiveScience.com, Christopher Wanjek writes that "saffron’s aphrodisiac properties first were tested in rats, as if rodents have trouble copulating. Saffron extract increased rat erection frequency. Follow-up studies on human males with erectile dysfunction revealed how saffron is marginally effective but just not as good as Viagra." Yohimbine, from the bark of the West African yohimbe tree, aided sexual function in 9 studies conducted over the last 2 decades; but its side effects include seizures and death.

People DO report having sex with "aliens." Some people are turned on by this, but most are just baffled by when they find themselves "performing." Whitley Strieber reported on this problem in his book Transformation. Now subscribers can learn what UFO contact is REALLY LIKE by listening to our eleven interviews with people who have had intimate experiences, of one kind and another, with aliens.
