Induced After Death Communication

Dr. Allan Botkin has pioneered a means of inducing afterlife communication using a variant of EMDR, or eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing. This process is used to help people who have post-traumatic stress disorder, but it turns out that it has an amazing ability to induce after-death communication in an organized and repeatable manner for a wide variety of people.

Here, Dr. Botkin tells Whitley Strieber the story of his discover and offers case studies of people who have been healed by it. He explains just how it works and offers his ideas about the nature of the psychological state that it causes.

Dr. Botkin made his discover by accident in 1995, when a PTSD patient began spontaneously interacting with a dead relative. He had the scientific curiosity and courage to stay with it, and as a result made this important discovery that has been a powerful reliever of trauma for thousands of people.

The stories he has to tell are thrilling, life-affirming and revelatory. An exceptional edition of Dreamland.

Dr. Botkin's website is Induced-ADC.com. There you can learn about the latest developments in the field and find certified practitioners, should you wish to explore the treatment further.

The Dead in Our Lives

Anne Strieber starts off this edition of our subscriber specials with a delightful story of the ghosts in her life, but then matters turn more serious when Dr. Botkin goes into detail about exactly what he thinks is happening when the IADC process induces the appearance of a dead person. Is this imaginary, imaginal or completely real? And if it is real, Whitley Strieber asks the question: where are the dead when they aren't with us? You will be fascinated by Dr. Botkin's answer and by this whole amazing field of IADC.

The dead are real, and there are reliable methods of interacting with them. Right now, this is pretty much rejected knowledge, but in the future, as people slowly become more comfortable with this reality, it's going to be accepted. We're on a road to a whole new world, where the living and the dead live in open communication and concert, and Dr. Botkin is one of the pioneers who is leading us there with scientifically valid results.

Are you familiar with the website Channeling Erik.com? Elisa Medhus is having an on going conversation with her son Erik through mediums. Very interesting to hear his views from the afterlife. Great show today!

This comment is a bit off topic, and I apologize beforehand. But I definitely believe we as living beings are part of a greater world. Thinking lately about how to put the paranormal and UFO experiences into some useful context, I've developed the following scenario:

The Human Race has just recently become active members of a well-established and ancient neighborhood, if you will. We are the new family on the block... Humans possibly, could be seen as the first black family to move into the neighborhood!

To our new neighbors we are an unsettling presence. As new residents we should expect a variety of responses. Most I'm sure will come to welcome us (and as happened in my neighborhood) accept us as valuable friends and members of the community. Others, we may find will have a somewhat more difficult time coming to terms with our close proximity. But at first we will be under a bit of scrutiny from all, until we get on a first-name basis.

Now, here's what I think we can expect and (already are) experiencing. Some will be over indulgent --knocking on our door every day to see how we are doing and 'trying a bit too hard' to gain our friendship. Trying to lay down some 'rap' on us to show how 'down' they can be! Others will have a need to be more wary of us at first. Some of our new neighbors may go so far as to try and test us. Parking their cars in front of our house or getting their kids to play 'Door-bell ditch' a few times at night. Perhaps, if one family on our new block 'has a problem with us' I wager the other families will deal with them in good time if they continue to harass us.

I believe the people of our new neighborhood are good and kindhearted and if we focus on the positive we will be accepted as a valuable part of this Galactic Community.

Accurate or not I really enjoyed your response!

Yeah... because the US didn't drop millions of tons of munitions and chemical weapons on Vietnam to the extent that the country has one of the highest rates of cancer in the world. Indiscriminately targeting the entire country. Yeah. But don't sweat. It was all because you love the Vietnamese children is why you did it.

"South Vietnamese planes dropped Napalm on a village near Saigon. Many civilians including children and babies were badly injured."

By "mistake," like Mi Lai, I'm sure.

... now where can I click "cancel subscription."

Thank you Whitley and Anne. For me it is a very timely pair of show mp3s. Thank "God" I can afford a subscription!

My Lai was a lot of things. But I don't remember it was ever claimed to be done 'by mistake'.
Don't cancel, but what are you talking about???

This is an amazing interview. I know so many people (myself included) who could achieve peace in this lifetime with this therapy.

Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious, but for those who believe in earth as a school for mankind to resolve and release (or accumulate) karma, this could provide massive relief and enlightenment for our species. It could be miraculous.

Thank you Whitely and Anne. Bless you.

I meant to mention (in my previous comment) that I came across this fascinating therapy session:

Lilou's EMDR & IADC Session with Dr Al Botkin, Chicago

In reference to the experience Whitley described in the interview I've often thought we can see the deceased when we are between the worlds in a type of OBE and it can seem to last forever because this place is probably timeless. The paralyzed body is an aspect of not being fully in one's body because sometimes your only partially in your body but your consciousness is in touch with and can perceive this other timeless space or reality. Consequently we can have visits from this other reality which acts as an medium between the worlds because we our consciousness is in touch with it and receptive to it. E.T.s can view humans from the astral plane and often do spy on us from there and this is why many who often have astral experiences report seeing them there.

Rainmaker what are you talking about? Is there some reason you always post some negative nonsense on here?

On a better note I would like to say that Anne sounds amazing lately, and I hope she is doing every bit as well as she sounds.

I would really be curious if this induced-adc could open the door to and help explain other phenomena such as dejavu or dreams?

I am very excited to hear all about your sessions (Anne and Whitley) and to find out what happened to you as a young boy and to Anne with her
"step-monster." This therapy sounds like something I could greatly benefit from myself and will try to find a 'recommended' therapist here in Ontario, Canada - hopefully Dr. Botkins list includes this area. Great show!!

Please report on your sessions, I am so curious! The process must be akin to Rapid Eye Therapy. I think the eye movements correspond to different parts of the brain. Great stuff. Looking very much forward to an update. Loved these interviews!
