The Danger of Fukushima: What does John Hogue See?

John Hogue uses his prophetic and analytical skills to talk about the growing danger of radiation from Fukushima, then Whitley asks him about details of his track record, which is unusually accurate. One example he cites is that he profiled the Boston Bombers as white supremacists. Seemingly a major miss, until it was revealed that the bombers were from the Caucasus, thus ethnic Caucasians, and not only that, one of them had white supremacist literature in his apartment! In other words, a direct hit and impossible to have figured out from the information available when it was made, after the bombing and before the bombers had been caught.

Dreamland at its fascinating best!

The Next 18 Months: Among History's MOST IMPORTANT

Using his astrological knowledge and predictive skills, John Hogue tells--and warns--us that the next 18 months will be among the most important periods in human history, with fundamental changes taking place that will persist for generations.

What could those changes be? And can he prove any of this? He has a good record of solid predictions under his belt, but has he now gone too far. Listen--carefully--and decide for yourself!

Not my cup of tea. This kind of thing provides no true insight to anything. Any intelligent, open eyed individual could come up with this stuff.

I've never exactly been described as a chirpy optimist, and I totally recognize the danger that our beautiful planet, and all of its life forms are in now. I get that.

However...John Hogue and his 'oracle' do not amaze me---at all. For those of us paying attention to this reality, he is not offering any real news about the state of Planet Earth and mankind. And if you travel the grids as many of us do, you can come up with your own oracle and can follow the timelines and probabilities as he does. "Many of you listening now will die..." There is no doubt that many of us will be dead in the next few years, from a wide variety of causes, and likely natural and man-made disasters may come into play in our demise. By the way, doesn't he live in the Seattle area? Seems like maybe he needs to move, sooner rather than later if a melt-down is in the cards for Fukushima. It is highly likely, especially if you realize that the area where it is located has not really stopped shaking since the earthquake and tsunami hit two years ago. Just watch the IRIS Seismic monitor maps every day.

If John Hogue speaks his predictions in the forest and there is no one to hear him speak his predictions, will his predictions come true?

Good grief.

Unless we think Whitley was fibbing with his visitor from The Key, (and i do not)...we should respect his intelligence that Hogue is worthy to ponder as someone who may be able to see patterns in our collective destiny.

My personal journal entries from 2005:

August 27, 2005

One thing to note in regards to a dream I had last night. The dream itself was strange and not worth going into (just too weird). The one thing that I remember very well is that during the dream some guy ( A minor celebrity, and can’t figure out why he was in there) leaned over and whispered in my ear that Honshu had just been hit by a huge tsunami. This really upset me, but he told me that no one else was to know for the time being.

I remembered this morning that Honshu was connected to Japan, but could not remember how. A quick search refreshed my memory. Honshu is the main island of Japan and is subject to frequent earthquakes, and home Mt. Fuji (volcano).

August 28, 2005

Really bad news today. Hurricane Katrina is at category 5. Forecasters are predicting the storm to hit New Orleans. The whole city is being evacuated. This city is about 6 feet below sea level and is totally protected by dikes and pumps at normal times. Between the winds, storm surge, Lake Ponchartrain, and the Mississippi River, this could be the worst natural disaster in U.S. history. While taking my walk this morning, I had a very bad feeling about this, including an almost overwhelming sense of sadness.

A couple of years after the entries above, I had another dream. I was walking in building rubble, and there was absolutely no life anywhere around me. It was desolate, and I felt strangely sad and lonely. In this dream I asked out loud, "Where is this place?" Quite distinctly, I heard the word "Honshu". I knew that this was not a localized disaster, but encompassed the whole country.

I have always had a fondness for Japan and the Japanese people, and could 'connect' to it. I can't do that anymore. It is almost as if Japan no longer exists.

I feel the same way. Possibly the information lies in subtle textures that I cannot appreciate. I respect Whitley enough to respect his associations and continue to listen for insights.

It's tough doing a weekly show and keeping it interesting week after week. I can appreciate the effort.

Having said this, I hope we can move on from Mr. Hogue. There's nothing here but speculation. His prophecies have a batting average that any person with common sense that does some research can have... and the ones that are more off-beat turn out to be wrong (see Iraq prophecies in the early 2000's)

@MoreFun - Hogue predicted the last 10 presidents?!
You mean from Kennedy onward? How old is Hogue anyway?... and did he start predicting presidents when he was in kindergarten? His first book came out in '87 so how exactly did he predict Kennedy in '60?

Cosmic.....Here is a reading that was given by Edgar Cayce...

“As to the changes physical again: The earth will be broken up in the western portion of America. The greater portion of JAPAN must go into the sea. The upper portion of Europe will be changed as in the twinkling of an eye …” Edgar Cayce reading 3976-15

He's not the Guru from Nibiru who will wow us out, but I'm not sure that guy really exists. Maybe I'm just much too easy to please, but I typically enjoy a couple interviews with Mr. Hogue when he's making his rounds. More I guess for hearing his insights, whether they prove right or wrong in the end, on their own terms, because I do have some beefs with the idea of prophecy generally. But the way he puts his view of what prophecy is, as a sort of snapshot of the directions we're headed at a given moment, with some specifics beginning to take shape in the mist though not necessarily set in stone (if I "get" him right) certainly makes more sense to me than the "evangelical" view of what prophecy is.

I find Mr. Hogue to be spectacularly unspectacular. How about having Joseph Farrell on more frequently than once a year? Here's a good spot!
