Josh C An interesting piece on John Nash. Also interesting to learn he played a part in our economic structure. |

Hard to know how much of Nash's experience was legitimate. To know that you might be in touch with something else and yet know at the same time it could ruin your career forever. I wonder if Whitley would've have chosen something different had he known? Perhaps all things happen for a reason though. There's a very fine line that Nash represents between sanity and insanity. I wonder if John Mack ever explored that area in his work. I wonder if Nash ever came up in that process? |

Ivan T. Sanderson said that he knew of someone whose bones were like the bones of a neanderthal, and that the man had X-rays to prove it. This was a long time ago, and I haven't heard anything else about it. |

If we had enough information to be able to create a living neanderthal, or other form of early man, should we? And what should we do with the attempts that weren't quite a success? |

The Neanderthals were much further advanced spiritually than their counterparts and left Earth in mass once they achieved the ability to do so. Their souls expanded outward and Earth could no longer meet their spiritual quests. Understand that all things are sacred--yet nothing is sacred. ~Yotee Coyote Blog: http://animalspirits--withoutfear.blogspot.com

Several weeks ago I saw part of the movie "A Beautiful Mind," about John Nash, on TV, probably the last half or so. It seemed like a pretty good movie. Sad and disturbing in places, but a good movie. |

It is a very good movie....as with most films it leaves out large hunks of things, and quickly glosses over others...but taken on its own it is a very moving film. Or was to me. ================================ http://www.facebook.com/fortwynt http://www.youtube.com/fortwynt ================================

The information taken in by the different senses is processed by the brain at different rates. Sight, for instance, takes much longer to process than the others, if I remember correctly. The brain has to take this information, that has arrived at different times, and integrate it into a single event. There's a theory that the brain of schizophrenics may have trouble with this. Some schizophrenics insist that they haven't caused something to happen, even though they have, and that what they did had no connection with what happened, and it may be that their brains are showing the event happening at a different time than what they did to cause it. |

I wonder what was actually going on with John Nash. How much was just in his mind and how much was real? If it was just in his mind, did it have help from someone in getting there? And what if some of it was real? |
