It's the zombie apocalypse! Seriously it seems to be tied to that "bath salts" drug, from what I've read, that mixed with other drugs. |

Good question, been wondering myself..Apparently the first fellow to go off the deep end had no drugs in his system..just a little marijuana showed up. The talk is that it is"bath salts", a synthetic drug sold over the counter labeled as bath salts, but smoked, injected or maybe snorted. So far no proof of what it really might be has been shared with the public. |

I was listening to C2C the other morning and George had open lines. This guy phones in and said he eats his own flesh. He wasn't on drugs I don't think. He just had a mind to the taste of it and had him some when he felt like it. George tried his best to figure it with this guy and it freaked me out thinking on it. Apparently the guy felt okay with it as he said it was his body and he could do as he pleased. I must create a system, or be enslaved by another man's. ~William Blake

It is sickening! There was an article a few weeks back about a woman who grabbed an infant and tried to eat the baby's arm. There is certainly something strange about all this. I thought they were all linked to the bath salts, but apparently not, which makes it even scarier. Susi: Anyone can buy the bath salts at a curb store/gas station. Mama: I bought a paperback at a yard sale once. Did not know until I started reading it that it was about people eating away at their own flesh! I promptly threw the book in the trash, after throwing up. I know a woman that is concerned about her teenaged son who using patchouli incense to get high. Don't know what the effects are or how anyone could do that. It's amazing what people will consume! I can't even stand the taste of meat (from animals) much less resort to eating human flesh! |

These are synthetic drugs. The idea is to make a slight chemical change so they are not illegal. When they are made illegal they make the slight change again. Aren't drugs great? |

Humans. It's what's for dinner! Sorry, couldn't resist. Back in the 80's my father-in-law was working in Kuwait for Western Electric. He came home telling the story of how an American couple were invited to an Asian couple's home for dinner. Literally! Said the American couple disappeared. Then the Asian couple became violently ill and ended up at the hospital where it was discovered they had eaten human flesh. (Can't remember all the details - the Asian couple may have died and there was an autopsy.) I know there is a chemical? protein? called Prion found in some animals like horses that can cause illness or death if eaten. Beware of dinner invitations during these strange times! |

I don't know much about the bath salts, but I know a little bit about herbal incense. What is certain is that these substances are highly destructive to the body. Synthetic cannabinoids (found in herbal incense) are "full agonist" at the CB1 and CB2 receptors. My knowledge here is limited, but I think full agonist means the natural process that occurs in the brain at those particular receptors is completely interrupted/ shut off by this full agonist, which would cause a chemical dependency to the drug, after a time. Not all herbal incenses are sedative. Some bring great anxiety. Among the immediate effects, certain types of “incense” bring on the feeling that one is about to have a bowel movement, or that one is about to vomit, or both. Probably terrible warning signs. Some people who smoke this stuff and have yet to experience a hellacious mindbender, will sometimes make fun of the people who actually did reach that level, who were freaked out by it, calling them wimps or more explicit terms. What they don’t realize is that they are all choosing destruction. A lot of times that thought doesn’t really come into focus until one has a horrible experience with a drug. Then it is suddenly realized. “My God, what have I done? I can’t die this way.” The person comes to know self inflicted agony and it becomes mixed in with the cycle of drug use. The DEA recently cracked down on several "head shops" in my city and other cities across the country. Apparently herbal incenses and bath salts were confiscated from distributors and manufacturers and the people involved were put into jail. This particular operation was called "Operation Log Jam". It seems that these drug manufacturers fall into the blanket term of “terrorism”. You can read about it more here: http://www.justice.gov/dea/pubs/pressrel/pr072612.html I must mention that the most potent and awful type of incense, that basically scared me straight, did not even appear in my town until after Operation Log Jam… I guess the only connection that I am making is that great agony paired with psychosis could very well cause a person to lash out like these cannibals in the news. |

Make no mistake...Bath Salts, as they are called, are potentially very dangerous...as with any substance taken recreationally to get high...trust me, i was on them myself for a time....but they are merely using this as a scapegoat these days...to blame every instance of humans acting irrationally on bath salts (and they have been doing this a lot lately ive noticed) is completely ridiculous...as with any drug, its not the drug, but how and how much its used. ================================ http://www.facebook.com/fortwynt http://www.youtube.com/fortwynt ================================

went to the library the other day without my reading glasses. Picked up a movie called "The Road". Couldn't read the back of the DVD, but Viggo Mortensten was in the movie and I like him, so brought it home. Horrible post-apocalypse movie. Lots of cannabalism. Hated it. |
