Gary Wright Lyrics DREAM WEAVER I have just closed my eyes again Climbed aboard the Dream Weaver train Driver take away my worries of today And leave tomorrow behind... Dream Weaver... I believe you can get me through the night Dream Weaver... I believe we can reach the morning light. Fly me high through the starry skies Or maybe to an astral plane Cross the highways of fantasy Help me to forget today's pain... Dream Weaver... I believe you can get me through the night Dream Weaver... I believe we can reach the morning light. Though the dawn may be coming soon There still may be some time Fly me away to the bright side of the moon And meet me on the other side... Dream Weaver... I believe you can get me through the night Dream Weaver... I believe we can reach the morning light. LOVE IS ALIVE Well I think it's time to get ready To realize just what I have found I have lived only half of what I am It's all clear to me now. Chor: My heart is on fire My soul's like a wheel that's turnin' My love is alive, my love is alive... There's somethin' inside That's makin' me crazy I'll try to keep it together Cos what I say may not happen the same way Now could be forever. Chor: Bridge: My love is alive, ooh my love is alive... There's a mirror movin' inside my mind Reflectin' the love that you shine on me Hold on now to that feelin' Let it flow... let it grow. Chor: Bridge: link |

Love Dream Weaver Muddy Waters would sound better cracken and poppen on the LP ---------------------------------------- KITE FLYING.............. Beneath the Blue Oregon Mountains Beneath the sky and the stars Far from the trail I hear You Sigh I hear you sigh In the skin,in the skin Where memory begins In the skin,in the skin It stretches thin In the wind Freed from the flesh and the bone Stretched on a cross of wood Tied to a string and then Flown away in the wind In the skin,in the skin Where memory begins In the skin,in the skin It stretches thin In the wind Willard Grant Conspiracy (Message edited by buddie on October 02, 2006) Qua da di

ya that and old Gary made my sister hot with his purple eye shadow. for days she would go to school with that exact cream eye shadow gunked on. lol. got to admit I have a Gary Write CD and I pull it out every so often to escape. good journey. must be a rock vibe from the past waving through Here today anyway I have 5 friends on this board that I want to dedicate this one too. ya there are more then five of you but for now these five are in my thoughts. There is no political solution To our troubled evolution Have no faith in constitution There is no bloody revolution We are spirits in the material world Our so-called leaders speak With words they try to jail you They subjugate the meek But it's the rhetoric of failure We are spirits in the material world Where does the answer lie? Living from day to day If it's something we can't buy There must be another way We are spirits in the material world Spirits In The Material World Lyrics Artist: The Police See you all there! See 2 in one I really do get it. |

In fact, I'd love to hear just about every 'hit' Police tune in reggae format, for reasons that should be obvious. "It's the cuddly ones that meow." ....5.... 5.......5 ..5...5..

I wish I knew how to do MIDIs, because this doesn't quite do it. Still, it's my favorite 'ambient', get-me-in-a-metaphysical-mood Police tune: http://www.free-midi.org/download.php?opt=get&songid=775 "It's the cuddly ones that meow." ....5.... 5.......5 ..5...5..

Well, that was a mind-bender! I'd always wanted to hear how some of these songs would sound "re-reggae-ized". I actually liked "Roxanne", "Jamaican..." and "Can't Stand..." best, but it's really hard to judge fairly without hearing entire tunes. "It's the cuddly ones that meow." ....5.... 5.......5 ..5...5..

Know Your Chicken 16 years ago, one day, I was walking down the street I was cruising in brooklyn You know what I mean? Something was cooking, But wasn't yet a chicken. There was a man, Selling chicks in a box. He said, 2 for 1, but 3 for 2. I said, that's not bad, Heres money for you. One was magenta, The other was blue. I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken One day, the blue one went away. The other grew up f*ckin well. She was noisy every night. I had always chicken-bite. Then I met a lover One night, she made me dinner. Licking finger, I wondered Where she got the chicken. Then I met a lover. One night, she made me dinner. Licking finger, I wondered Where she got the chicken. I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken Spare the rod and spoil the chick Before you go and sht a brick. Spare the rod and spoil the chick Before you go and sht a brick Spare the rod and spoil the chick Before you go and sht a brick Spare the rod and spoil the chick Before you go and sht a brick I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken She went to college to study anatomy I followed her fathers butchery We got 2 babies. is it cool? One was magenta, the other was blue. I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken I know my chicken You got to know your chicken... -Cibo Matto

Time You come in, check my time You've got fornication crimes I've seen your hope on television Where we've been, we were not were They've got tricycles in skirts This is a mouth that needs religion And they all want to love the cause 'Cause they all need to be the cause They all want to fck the cause So take me down, down through this Kill the common law that missed This is the blood I love to share Little pistols and companion halls Desperation tentacles I've been alone since '89 We've got a menstruating disguise They know three completes the five This is a church that should believe And they all want to free the cause 'Cause they all need to dream a cause They all need to be a cause You've got all and it's Pretty good but I Seem to be in disbelief You come in, check my time You've got fornication crimes I've seen your death on television Cue immortal child like times Separation is divine Here is a strike beneath your knees And they all want to love the cause 'Cause they all need to be the cause They all want to fck the cause Take me down, down through this Kill the white within the bliss Here is a waiting room That wants to save your life And they all want to love the cause They all need to be the cause They all want to dream a cause They all need to fck the cause -Broken Social Scene (Message edited by albi on October 07, 2006) |

Looks Just Like the Sun Looks just like the sun, looks just like you Looks just like the sun, looks just like it Well, he looks just like the sun, looks just like you But I'm breathing, thinking one.... Heart is pounding in his chest reaches suddenly for his gun ship is sailing in the west Flower that could be his fun.... Tree of families on his head weary red split open eyes I'm on the corner thinking about my bed bla bla something signifies(?)..... Gold and red the colours change as you can't forget Turning back, you know I thought I knew, thought I knew someone You better check your words, I think it's time you left. To he, darkness still it's obvious to everyone darkness still, its obvious to everyone still it's obvious to every, well it looks just like the sun looks just like it Broken Social Scene |

WORDS FELL When you let me see you cry Your silent lips against my cheek Words fell On a night as black as coal your kisses traveled deep Your eyes pierced my soul Words fell Words fell In another place and time We lived within the wood Ate berries from the vine Words fell When we lay among the stones And watched the Druids dance And walked along the rocky shores Words Fell Words Fell In another place and time I knew your mournful blue Knew your golden grace Words Fell When we let the ocean hold us And sank beneath the waves In the silence of the roses Words Fell Words Fell Words Fell Lucinda Williams Qua da di

Eclipse (Waters) 2:04 All that you touch All that you see All that you taste All you feel. All that you love All that you hate All you distrust All you save. All that you give All that you deal All that you buy, beg, borrow or steal. All you create All you destroy All that you do All that you say. All that you eat And everyone you meet All that you slight And everyone you fight. All that is now All that is gone All that's to come and everything under the sun is in tune but the sun is eclipsed by the moon. "There is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it's all dark." They live in megalopolises, carve out empires, and are the world’s swiftest innovators. They’re not the Chinese, the Japanese, or the Americans. They’re bacteria. - Howard Bloom.

Here Comes The Sun (George Harrison) Here comes the sun, here comes the sun And I say it's all right Little darlin' it's been a long cold lonely winter Little darlin' it feels like years since it's been here Here comes the sun, here comes the sun And I say it's all right Little darlin' the smiles returning to their faces Little darlin' it seems like years since it's been here Here comes the sun, here comes the sun And I say it's all right Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Little darlin' I feel the ice is slowly meltin' Little darlin' it seems like years since it's been clear Here come the sun, here comes the sun And I say it's all right Here come the sun, here comes the sun It's all right, it's all right If this helps not that any want my help but I like to think that my compassion for people in that dark place eclipses anything else. For I have been in the dark so long only now coming to terms with what some realities might be. And I am still here. But at one of my darkest moments I had a dream of my mother coming out of the woods asking me why for all this darkness. And I was standing in a clearing in a dark robe but just then the clouds broke in the overcast dark sky and a stream of light came down and touched me. And I told my mother what do you mean the dark I’m looking for the light. Just then the light was in me and I shimmered as if I was the light and I flew off. In real time things got better with my mother and it was ok to be me. I am learning that we are both light and dark but intent is what counts and that we learn from those dark places and that the light illuminates to us and through us. Dark and light they cant exist with out one another. Yin and yang. 2 in 1. I don't know, if I have over stepped my boundaries I just wanted to offer some comfort if I could. Anyway one night when I had a very heavy personal revelation this song popped in my head and I was able to sleep and I was ok for that moment. |

This is one of the tunes I listened to while treading the ol' mill today. It struck me as a timely bit of prose to post: Well even the longest night wont last forever But too many hopes and dreams wont see the light And all of the plans I make wont come together Something in the air Maybe for the only time in my life Something in the air Turning me around and guiding me right And its a prime time, maybe the stars were right I had a premonition, its gonna be my turn tonight Gonna be my turn tonight Well even the brightest star wont shine forever But all of the hands I play are working out right And every move I make feels like a winner Something in the air Maybe for the only time in my life Something in the air Turning me around and guiding me right And its a prime time, maybe the stars were right I had a premonition, its gonna be my turn tonight Gonna be my turn tonight Gonna be my turn tonight - "Prime Time", The Alan Parsons Project "It's the cuddly ones that meow." ....5.... 5.......5 ..5...5..

Oldie, kinda' feel good song TWO SLEEPY PEOPLE Here we are Out of cigarettes, Holding hands and yawning, Look how late it gets. Two sleepy people by dawn's early light And too much in love to say good night. Here we are In a cozy chair, Picking on a wishbone From the Frigidaire. Two sleepy people with nothing to say And too much in love to break away Do you remember The nights we used to linger in the hall? Father didn't like you at all. Do you remember The reason why we married in the fall? To rent this little nest And get a bit of rest. Well, here we are Just about the same, Foggy little fella, Drowsy little dame. Two sleepy people By dawn's early light And too much in love to say good night. Words by Frank Loesser Music by Hoogy Carmichael Children know, instinctive taught, the friend or foe. Sir Walter Scott, Lady of the Lake

Circle of Light by walela I'm not right And you're not wrong I don't know what this love of ours is built upon We are shadows Tiny sparrows Safe inside Clear blue sky Of another storm Moving in and out of time In and out of the Circle of life We are children of the angels Keepers of the fire We are children of the angels Reaching for the light We are not Strangers We are all brothers I know we came here to love each other Here, in the circle of life Each one thinks He has the answer Each believes that he can see The way, the only way Truth lies waiting Was always waiting Like a love A peaceful dove Right there inside your soul From another place and time Moving into a circle of light |
