Leonard Cohen--I've got his "Sisters of Mercy" playing on my iMac right now [pop-up warning] Here are the lyrics. Funny how much nature spirit/faerie imagery there is in this song....? I've noticed on the web sites of survivors of abuse that many, many of them use faerie art. Wonder what the exact connection is?? I not only love faerie art, but I paint it too..... "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross." Sinclair Lewis 1935

O the sisters of mercy they are not departed or gone. They were waiting for me, when I thought that I just can't go on And they gave me their comfort, and later they gave me their song Oh I hope you run into them, you who've been traveling so long. Yes you who must lose everything that you cannot control. It begins with your family, but soon it comes down to your soul Well I've been where you're hanging, I think I can see how you're pinned... When you're not feeling holy your loneliness says that you've sinned. They lay down beside me, I made my confession to them. They touched both my eyes and I touched the dew on their hem... If your life is a leaf that the seasons tear off and condemn, They will bind you with love that is graceful and green as a stem. When I left they were sleeping, I hope you run into them soon. Don't turn on the light you can read their address by the moon. And it won't make me jealous if I learn that they've sweetened your night... We weren't lovers like that and besides it would still be alright. -Sisters of Mercy That about faeries, Patricia? Could well be...Happens I had the words to this because I figured out the guitar chords to the song last Christmas. |

Hey everybody! Guess what! I am back on line. Finally. How about a big bowl of mashed potatos, lots of butter, homemade lumps and all. MMMMM I have been keeping a journal of what has happened since the flood, and have started posting excerpts in area 52. Interesting to see how these thngs go-dealings with FEMA and the like. I will post a few a day until caught up. Still struggling. No money yet, insurance or otherwise, but I am living in a FEMA trailor. Yea, Kathy. Glad you're back. Hang in there, hope springs eternal. It's gonna be OK now. If you need anything, give a holler. Can't get to Area 52 right now, still having problems with dumb computer. (The machine is dumb, not me, of course!) Hope your stuff stays up long enough for me to catch it. If your not a cat lover stop reading Here.............................. I gave Big Guy a stuffed dog called "Woof" as a companion about 5 years ago. He turned woof into his sex toy shortly after he got him.. BG is a neutered declawed indoor city cat..my jaw dropped when he did that I also about a year ago had a lamb given to me which I gave to BGuy. He did the same thing with Lamma-Lamma once he got used to her..Today I found Lamma-Lamma out in the living room next to Woof.. Lamma-Lamma has never left "our" bedroom she is there for him to snuggle when I go to bed. Well he had a fun time Today carrying her out by the ear.. needing her-front-back-don't matter to him and purring loudly while drooling.. then he would have sat on her and went to sleep.. It was too funny he's never done that before.. (Message edited by buddie on September 20, 2006) Qua da di

HAHAHA thanks for the comic relief! Actually, we adopted a female Maine Coon cat that was almost identical to my dear Buddy. he was still alive and full of beans, but when she went into heat-he went to town. I mean, he was neutered, but he accommodated her. And, I believe. he totally enjoyed himself. Instinct is instinct. By the way, Buddie, when we moved our bed back into the bedroom last week, I believe I got a visitation from my old pal. Something invisible jumped right up on the bed, exactly in his old spot. I think he was letting us know he was glad we were back. Humans believe they are devils pretending to be angels when, in fact, the reverse is true.

that is awsome wax. i love it. ive had a bottle o'wine and a half but i can see every thing in it what you have been working though with the imagery. so five always leads to 6 that center jewel is alive like one could swim in it and be new agan. this is a wild aside i just read about batheing in quarts water to become electrified. kind of funny for me being the glaze mix master for years at the college i constantly was in contact with sillica ie quarts. it makes me wonder. beautiful pic love the coral pariimiter. around the circle it reminds me of a conversation i had with some one. ever think of doing one with carnillians and amber? dont know why i ask that but that friend said they are power stones. i think i am getting some soon. but still looking for the peril. aye me. john |

John: "ever think of doing one with carnillians and amber? dont know why i ask that but that friend said they are power stones." Not until now, but the suggestions intrigues me. If this universe is a hologram, then perhaps a reasonably-faithful picture of a particular kind of stone will have some of the properties of the real thing. I'll look into it. ....5.... 5.......5 ..5...5..

whoa waxy thats right, starfish visitations! they were the most amazing "pokimon like spinners" i ever done seen. one green the other blue both with a stone in the center. they unleashed a vivid dream for me that was months ago though. spinning star fish chakra? why not oh no buddy thats a song about some one saying good bye because they are dieing. the only thing missing from it is him saying good bye to his dog. wich i use to sing to my dog as a kid. only he understood me. i miss peter prorter (his name) the best dog ever. but he had a hard life. i am a firm believer in dog heaven and cat heaven too. he comes in dreams sometimes. and he is free. we are liveing in the light now. |

More artwork... I saw something very similar to this on my computer screen while dreaming one morning about a year and a half ago, and it caused me to go "pre-lucid"; I finally got around to putting together a mockup for use on my RL computer as an aid in helping me remember to do my reality tests (I have a hard time sticking with it otherwise). For those who are on dial-up, I should mention that it is close to 1MB in size - it's a full-screen animation, and I didn't want to skimp on the resolution too much. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c129/RealWaxy/DreamVolcanoes.gif ....5.... 5.......5 ..5...5..

Oh, hey, buddie... Sal, how about some homemade cookies and a big bowl of ice cream? Thanks... Now buddie, the photos I posted in diary of a disaster over in area 52 were taken by my neighbor, a fellow artist, by the way. the water got a lot higher, stayed up in some spots for 24 hours, others for nearly a week, depending on drainage. you can still see my sunflowers in the one photo (they survived). mmmm.....cookies. What is it about me and cookies/ I swear, if it wasn't for cookies and ice cream, I would be soooo thin... Oh, and pasta.. and cookies and bread... crusty loaves with loads of real butter hey, God, help me avoid the bread. I get to go to an Italian restaurant tonight for a friends retirement dinner. God, help me avoid the bread. Humans believe they are devils pretending to be angels when, in fact, the reverse is true.

It's been a very strange few days, been "scanning" photos into the computer, then saving them to disks along with my "genealogical" research. It was like I was told (while dreaming) to do so, just in case there's some kind of disaster. So I put them in hubby's safe in the basement for safe-keeping. Weird. Don't know why.
