Just go up to the "archive" and click on the blue lettering, keep going back until you find what you are looking for. (Or, go into your "edit profile" and then click on button, and see what you have posted.) |

Waxy is like an orgasmic trail mix...all natural. Yes, Pat, the work you put up is terrific. Hope you get yours up soon. I know. Ya gotta rest. I'm resting, too. Ernesto only made it to a tropical storm by the time it hit here, but supposed to be a 'Caner by the time it hits the Carolinas. Ah, the joy of living in paradise stateside.

A World Con art show is an awesome thing, if you happen to be an artist...or even if you just like art. I made myself leave after seeing each hundred or so paintings, just to keep from zombie-ing out myself. It's like the brain has a sort of buffer, like a computer, and when it's full, you tend to stop seeing things. Mine fills up fairly quicky, so I ration myself on how much I'll look at before taking a break. Actually, I made note of a LOT more artists' webpages, but was afraid no one here would be interested enough to check out the links, so I only posted the top ones. I've GOT to get a webpage up soon--my friends were right: it's THE way to sell work online. They all started out selling prints on eBay, so I'll do that and later I'll link to my website. Just couldn't resist, buddie. Organic, orgasmic. Reminded me of a new lab tech who was sent to a patient's room to collect a sample for bacteriologic studies. She came back all in a huff and got madder 'en a wet hen because the patient was laughing so hard, and he would not let her take the sample. She was a very young tech and he was a "dirty old man". He kept saying he did not have a vulva and she insisted that every one has one. Well, it seems she did not know the difference between a uvula and a vulva. Poor lab super had to explain the difference. Lab super was red in the face and female tech was even redder when he had finished the explanation. Love ya anyway, Waxy. Hope you don't need to have your uvula swabbed by poorly schooled techies. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ Misery loves company. ~~ Wanna hang out? ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

reminds me... one year, for my mom's 80th birthday, i thought i'd get her something she'd been interested in but hadn't tried. keep in mind my mom's eyesight wasn't all that great. i got her a book simply called 'origami'. she looked at the book, then up at me and shyly smiled and said, 'why susan, i'm a little too old for this.' a similar story... my daughter wasn't the greatest science student. it was her first period class and she was always tired first period and would occasionally fall asleep in class. if the teacher noticed, he would call on corey to answer a question which she hadn't heard him ask. her brother was in the same class and came home one day to tell me she was trying very hard to stay awake when the teacher asked a question. she finally knew the answer and in her excitement raised her hand and waved it and shouted out 'ORGASM!' the teacher almost fell off his chair. the answer SHOULD have been 'organism'. |

Had a "Craig Ferguson" marathon, this weekend, watched "Saving Grace" (Just for Waxy and his "pot" enjoyment) and "I'll be there" which was very funny and sweet (old rock star discovers one of his groupies had a child by him.) Don't know why but his monologues just crack me up, don't care for his "interview" style, but his writing is hilarious. |

Yes it was, unlike the "tribute" Matt Lauer chose to broadcast on the Today Show this morning, on Steve Irwin. They chose to re-up in it's entirety, the awful interview, the day after Steve had his baby son with the crocadile. It was ghastly. Why couldn't they have done a montage of his conservation clips instead. It was cruel and rude.!! (Made me angry!!) Craig Ferguson is a class-act. |

I asked friends and they can't help. Perhaps someone can tell me if it's normal how I felt..?? Last week I found myself in a stairway without lights..It was where I work and it's only 5 flights up..the power was out but emergency lights were on at the time..I began to walk up to our office when the emergency lights went off..I was one of the 1st employees there.. It was pitch black..I started to feel like I couldn't breath..( panic I know ) the thing that scared me most is I had no direction. I did not know if I was going up or down..I lost my judgement totally!! I was scared S**tless.. The whole time probably was 5 minutes. Is it NORMAL to loose your senses like that if you have no point of reference..?? Qua da di

I've found it can be very disorienting to suddenly be put in the dark, with absolutely no light source, so I don't think you are too much different than average as regards that aspect. Being disoriented will give anyone a jolt of panic attack (or anxiety, if you prefer). On two occasions I've been plunged into total darkness while upright and walking and all I could think to do was just stand perfectly still. Don't want no things-that-go-bump-in-the-night to run into me. I thank the Powers That Be that these incidents didn't last more than a minute or two, but I swear those minutes felt like hours. a group of us went to alcatraz island for a tour. the guide put us in the cell where frank morris (the escapee) was incarcerated. then he closed the bars. then without warning, he turned off the lights. it became pitch black. i think it was more claustrophobia than anything else, but i immediately let out a scream. the lights immediately came back on and the guide had a chagrined look on his face. |

buddie, I keep forgetting to get the photos of them off The Skeptic's computer--and tonight we're going out to dinner with friends, right before he leaves for the weekend, so I doubt if he'll have time. Rats. Just started another image--much smaller, so that it (hopefully) won't take forever to finish. It's of a Celtic priestess standing in a barge and reaching out to touch one of a circle of standing stones that have been flooded. The water's very still and you can see mirror-like reflections, which basically means that I must be a masochist, since I'll have to paint it twice over Why do I not get *simple* ideas?! Thanks. It's like a free-fire zone with a "annihilate the MC survivors and win a prize" competition going on. Ugly, ugly people and lots of gore, but I just hate to see the Bad Guys win due to intimidation. I use LilyPat in the DID/MC forums, mostly. Originally it was to give Lily a place to be "first", but she's totally catatonic from terror in this current flame war, so I wish I could remove the "Lily" from my handle, but the opposition would just find a way to use it against me, so I guess it stays, for now. Good decision to leave--I strongly advise that you stay as far away from that site as possible. It's most definitely NOT what it appears to be at all (an anti-govt. secrecy activist site). Makes me appreciate Sal's even more--I'll have a plate of comfort food and a large hot chocolate to go, Sal! Usually I end up sleeping days and staying awake all night, not by choice, not by chance, but by some other weird process. Consequently, I miss out on a lot of snuggle sessions here. Boohoo! Going to sleep shortly, so maybe somebody will be left under the blankie so I can get a little snuggle time in. I'm so t-i-r-e-d, and as the old country song says "but sleep won't come the whole night through" even though I don't have a cheating heart. Somebody please ask Sal to have a giant bacon and cheese omelet ready for me this afternoon, or whatever time it is that my eyes open - if I can get them to close.
