I agree with Buddy, the colours are marvelous as it is, and it looks alive!

I was thinking maybe doing a few more, then I can let each one star in it's own show! Any "group photo" would just be a bonus, though I doubt anything small enough to not be a pain to download would show the neat optical effect as well.

Beautiful!!! Love jellyfish and always have--they seem like alien lifeforms to me. It used to break my heart to find them washed up on the beaches in FL, but didn't dare to touch them for fear of a sting. If I could find a piece of driftwood, I'd scoop them up and carry them out as far out as possible into the water, in hopes that they'd revive.

Going to Berkely for art supplies today -- $$$! -- so won't be around here much, but I wanted to stop in for lunchies before I take off. So glad I did, since I got to enjoy the jellyfish critter I'd like a BLT on wheat toast, light on the mayo, and a big glass of iced tea, lemon, no sugar. To go, plz.

L. A. B., did you get around to posting your sketches??

[tweaks Brighid's toesies on the way out--Hey! they were sticking out from under the blanket...couldn't resist!]

LAB: Lovely! I love your sketches. I'm a "sketcher" myself, but I can't any more due to carpal.

Had "carpel" surgery on both wrists (one twice) and a wrist "bone" ligament replacement. Still typing and sketching, somehow. Not easy, but do it slow.

OUCH!

So far it doesn't affect my typing too badly, but writing, drawing, sewing by hand and any other small repetitive task, forget it. The first time my hands went numb and I thought I'd lost use of them I was totally devastated. Now I keep icy hot around for my hands/wrists, try and keep them supported and level on the table at all times, and when I can, run them under hot water and soak them til it goes away. LOL Not to mention the 600mg ibuprophen that lives at my side.

Carpal is NO fun. *HUGS* I'm sorry you had to go through that, I suppose I will too eventually, but I'm so stubborn! And you do such great work too, considering it all! That's marvelous!

Waxy was channel-surfing last night and caught a clip of Jerry Orbach doing the song-and-dance thing. It was a hoot, but Waxy got creeped out by the way his legs moved when he pretended to be a basketball player and changed to another show.

Why is it I like Hugo "masked" but not so much in "Rings" or "Matrix?" Maybe he just cannot get passed his face?? He used his "bod" in "V" so well, he didn't need "expressions" to show emotion.

Grandkids came again today, I am so sore. (Walked them down to local park while they played on the slides...) It's been a long time since I had kids 24/7. Forgot how tough it is.

(One iced-latte with chocolate please, or if not, a "drumstick" with nuts.) Hey it's friday night, movie time. (Plugs in "Don Juan DeMarco" and watches Johnny Depp do his "blade" routine.)

I've actually grown fond of Weaving's face, with time--to me he made a great elf king in "Rings". But then, I tend to focus on an actor's voice to a great extent and he has a marvelous one. In "V for Vendetta" it was displayed so beautifully--so rich and sonorous and seductive!

I hear ya on the kiddies--I'd have to be hospitalized if I spent that much time with a passel of them, I'm afraid! No idea how the heck I did it way back in that previous geologic era when I had one of my own.....!

THis morning I had to sit with her.I am

It's unsettling when a stranger expresses hatred of you, isn't it?! I've had that happen a couple of times here in my neighborhood and it always upsets me. Afterwards, I always wish I'd just been brave enough to walk up to them and ask them why they glared at me, but I never am. Someday, maybe.

Sal, I'll have a club sandwich and a big glass of iced tea with lemon. Oh, and a nice unsquished muffin for buddie

Hey Buddie, have you seen the "Da Vinci Code"/"The Missing piece Mystery puzzle" Rosslyn Chapel Revealed?
It's a puzzle of the inside and outside of Rosslyn Chapel, so cool. Comes with a "blue" flashlight, that when you finish the puzzle, something is hidden (just like the movie!!)

If you can't wait for the puzzle, this Rosslyn website is fun, with "animated" photos of the Chapel and all the 'myths' surrounding it.

Lab thats great..
Thanks,thats so thoughtful.

Well B.guy is much better and since I'v
been showing him loads of attention 24/7
for the past week,he's now glued to me !!
I have to watch him because he Plops himself
in front of me while I'm walking, this of course
sends me flying so as not to walk on him..
I broke my baby toe 2 years ago,,smashing
into the side of the coffee table.
Last fall he sent me to emergency with a split
head 6 stitches and a huge goose-egg after
he tripped me up and I went backwards into
the door casing ,LOL..he's trying to kill me !!
