Native, Remember when you said you wern't getting email? Well I usually get loads of mail (spam mostly) everyday. Get several legit messages form known folks as well. Now for the last few days I have had nothing. I tried to send a message to myself and it worked but that means nothing as I am not all here anyway. Seriously...wonder whats up? Study: Everyone, Everything Linked To Paranoia BALTIMORE—According to a study published Tuesday in The New England Journal Of Medicine, researchers at Johns Hopkins University have succeeded in conclusively linking everyone and everything everywhere to paranoia. The comprehensive 11-month study—which was designed to establish that it’s all tied to paranoia, all of it, and absolutely everyone is in on it—was able to connect extreme cases of paranoid behavior with the government, the media, doctors, Palestine, the meat industry, stoplights, and everything in existence, all working together, conspiring against us. “Our research shows statistically significant correlations between episodes of paranoia and fast food chains, Time magazine, the growing military-industrial-media complex that holds all Americans hostage, honeybees, my mother, and China,” said an unshaven, disheveled Dr. Adam Crane, lead author of the paper. “During routine tests, we saw that not only was frantic suspicion and extreme distress a symptom of everything being part of one big conspiracy, but it was also a direct response to the fact that everyone in the world, here and in other countries, is watching us right now at this very moment.” “Furthermore, our data confirmed this phenomenon goes all the way to the top,” Crane added. “Straight to Obama, Bernanke, the pope, NASA, Jeff Leialoha of Ann Arbor, MI. Everyone.” “Don’t you see how it’s all connected?” researchers say. Confirming there was no escape in sight, no escape whatsoever, Crane told reporters that paralyzing feelings of mistrust can almost certainly also be tied to indisputable proof that the whole thing is bigger and more detailed than anyone could have ever imagined. So much f*cking bigger. According to researchers, three out of 10 consecutive trials found paranoia stemmed from the tiniest granule of sand to the cosmos itself, and went “way, way beyond” just the grocery baggers at Safeway, Operation Desert Storm, the AIDS epidemic, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. At least four additional lab-controlled experiments showed high levels of emotional distress stemming from the discovery that microchips—CIA-monitored microchips—have been embedded in all newborns’ skulls to poison their mental stream with Visa propaganda from day one. Additionally, the study confirmed that they know. They all know. And they know we know, sources said. “Crickets, of course, we knew were in on it, and it was certainly no surprise that the 1996 Indiana Pacers were in some way involved,” study co-author Dr. Laura Zhang told reporters. “But I personally was not aware of just how closely linked to paranoia my own colleagues were, and how even my closest research partners, these people I thought I could trust, were in on it all along.” “Do not tell them I talked to you, do you understand me?” Zhang added. “Research suggests there is a good chance they are recording this conversation right now." The researchers said that while they were able to verify the link between paranoia and the Illuminati, Chelsea Handler, the fluoride in tap water, and everyone and everything else in the world, their study still left many questions unanswered. “What we hope to figure out through follow-up studies is who—if anyone—can still be trusted with this information,” Dr. Crane said. “I mean, how deep does this thing go? Students? Department heads? Family? Friends? Reporters?” “Reporters!” Crane added as he frantically ran out of the room. Native says: "you are here...what does that mean exactly?...where is here?...and is it your here are my here?...or their here?" Yes... which prompts me to quote a bit of your tag line: "This gets me to a question that returns to my mind practically every day of my life:........ The rest of the quote I fill in according to my own yearning. I must create a system, or be enslaved by another man's. ~William Blake

Anticipation..not denial is the 1st step its followed by despair and eventually a lot more despair.. Rationalization..typically this stage is triggered by an enjoyable day spent outside..we vow to plan more outings and we are of the belief that not only can we Survive Winter we can learn to Love it.. We settle in for hotchocolate by the fireplace We look out the window into the deep black of a winters night and we are content.. Until we realize its only 4:35 pm..sweet mother of @!%*#.. |

Hi sal. Snowed out a bit last night and my apartment is chilly. Nice and warm in here, though. What a weekend..hosted a big family Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, then off to Sullivan county for an amazing blues and music festival.Right in the heart of the Catskills, not far from Woodstock. The musicians were all very accomplished, (a lot of the guys used to play with my late son-in-law) and the food was yummy, fried catfish po'boys and jambalaya being just a few of the offerings. Big bands on the stage, and in between sets solo acoustic artists performed in the back of the room. My daughter flitted amongst the musicians, hugging and kissing old friends and tears for Mike. I could almost see him up on the stage during a few of the numbers, playing with Freddy those wild psychedelic blues guitar riffs.Hard to believe he's been gone a year now. Sal, some of that ham and potato corn chowder with those homemade biscuits would warm me up nicely right about now.Hope a few more folks stop by soon-we could break open that bottle of cognac in Mike's honor and listen to some more blues. |

That must have been an awesome week-end especially for your daughter And this is an awesome Blog I found called Adapting to Grace... I personally have had tastes of this.. …There has been mention in your past experience of enlightened beings separating themselves from the masses. There must be the time and the space, the solitude, in order to integrate and to strengthen this infusion of Soul. For the Being has been born; the Being is actually alive on earth for the first time. This is what has been termed being â€born again’ on your planet. This is a time to be gentle and patient with the needs of the newborn. Now in your society, in your [western] culture, in this modern day in which you find yourselves within, there are not so many of the role models, or examples of enlightenment. You have your examples in your mind’s reference far, far, far away in the East… the place where the enlightened ones reside. Do you see? That’s how you have assigned enlightenment culturally. This speaks loudly of your culture’s distancing from this potential, from this possibility. Therefore, the enlightened ones you have within your very culture go unrecognized. It is a big assignment, do you see, to invite this experience within the western culture. For the way you have designed your lives is one of distraction, to say the least. Your flurries of activity, your busy lives assuredly prevent this connection with the Oversoul. Yet if there is a desire for the infusion, for the memory of your total identity, then it will be so. But you must not concern yourself with timelines [or expectancy], do you see? Should one be desirous of the reconnection, the remembrance of your totality, then a discipline of intention would be advised. This could come in many, many, many forms – move in the direction that you are drawn. In discipline, what is meant from this view, is not necessarily so much of the existing rituals [from the past], for truly the creation of your own physical rituals would be more powerful at this time. By discipline, what is meant here is; that in each activity within the practice that you choose, you are restating your intention to know, to be alive, to be present. This may take the form of moving meditation or still meditation. It may take the form of physical exercise. It may take the form of mantra, chanting, toning, and it may take other forms that humans are introducing now into your realm. It matters not, as long as the form feels comfortable to you. With each disciplined practice, voicing your intentions would be advised. What do you want? For there must be a container of intention. Invite this transformational experience to occur in your lives. Now the big question that has rung out into the ethers from Planet Earth is, â€where will I find the time to do that?’ Simple. Where you begin is right where you are. You are busy in your office and you recognize that it is not fulfilling to you. Then you begin there. Take a moment for yourself, whether it is at your place of work, or if it is when you arrive at home. Close the door. Be alone. Lock it if you must. And say out loud, “I choose to be fulfilled in this life. I welcome this. I know that there is more to who I am, and I invite this loving Being into my life here and now. I am willing for my life to change benevolently for myself and for those around me, in order to achieve this balance, this peace that I know is possible.” Do you see what we are saying about beginning right where you are? There is the perception that you have your work life, you have your home life, you have your recreational life, you have your spiritual life. There are so many categories of human now that you do not allow yourself to be your spiritual self at work, or your recreational self with your spiritual self, and so on. The intent is to fuse all of these benevolent qualities of yourself. That is the whole idea! So begin right where you are. For that is where the present moment is accessed, and this is where your so-called â€enlightenment’ flows through – into present moment. There is no reason anymore, at this point now in time, for humans to procrastinate. And why would you choose to procrastinate the fullness, the wisdom, the skills, the talents that are yours? The reason that we would perceive that procrastination would occur is the fear of your world and your life [as you know it] falling apart. Know that the parts that no longer serve you and no longer serve those around you will fall apart and fall away. But wouldn’t that be part of your intention anyway? Transformation is occurring at this time in your evolution, whether you consciously choose to participate or not. The joy, the ecstasy, the fulfillment is available to humans right now. Many of you have already experienced this, or tastes of it, as you say. For you are practicing present-moment life on your planet now. It is being done. It is being demonstrated. And you will see evidence of this in the coming years on your planet. An explosion of consciousness, an explosion of awareness, an explosion of joy – a renaissance like none other witnessed on your planet. Invite it now. There is no more waiting. So in this way, enlightenment is not the last step on your path of evolution; it is the beginning. |

I saw this yesterday.I am so happy to see the police shown in a positive light for a change. My niece's husband is a cop in New York, and you couldn't meet a sweeter guy, despite being beaten up and spit on just while doing his rounds.Recently he worked around the clock helping out after hurricane sandy without complaining, only feeling so badly for those who lost so much during that storm. There are a lot of compassionate police officers out there.I remember when I lived in the Boston area how they spent so much time on cold nights trying to coax the homeless in our neighborhood to go to the shelter with them for a hot meal and a warm bed. Sal, I just finished decorating our tiny Christmas tree, and I would love a cup of hot chocolate tonight. Spent a little time crying and feeling sorry for myself because I cannot find the precious engraved ornaments that my husband and I bought for every year of our marriage-the box just seems to have disappeared. We searched everywhere, but in the confusion after the flood last year they got lost somehow. I did find four of them that were stowed with the stuff we gave my daughter but the rest are gone. I was so looking forward to repeating my yearly ritual of unwrapping each one and recalling the high points of the years, but I guess the damnable river managed to take away even that small pleasure. Oh, well.Onward we go on this journey called life-no backward glances allowed. |

just thinking out loud Sal... The word surveillance is the French word for "watching over"; "sur" means "from above" and "veiller" means "to watch". The inverse (reciprocal) of surveillance is sousveillance ("to watch from below"). The word surveillance may be applied to observation from a distance by means of electronic equipment (such as CCTV cameras), or interception of electronically transmitted information (such as Internet traffic or phone calls). It may also refer to simple, relatively no- or low-technology methods such as human intelligence agents and postal interception. Surveillance is very useful to governments and law enforcement to maintain social control, recognize and monitor threats, and prevent/investigate criminal activity. With the advent of programs such as the Total Information Awareness program and ADVISE, technologies such as high speed surveillance computers and biometrics software, and laws such as the Communications Assistance For Law Enforcement Act, governments now possess an unprecedented ability to monitor the activities of their subjects.... Perhaps when the words are dropped, labels and concepts discarded - what’s real is touched, the soul embraced, aloneness (all oneness) is truly seen as never alone, but has transcended both the positive and negative emotional dependency on others. In it’s place is true intimacy, without attachment â€nor demands - no judgment, no requirements………Just unconditional Love. I must create a system, or be enslaved by another man's. ~William Blake

UNIVERSAL SOLDIER.. by Buffy He’s 5 foot 2 and he’s 6 feet 4 He fights with missiles and with spears He’s all of 31 and he’s only 17. He’s been a soldier for a thousand years He’s a catholic, a Hindu, an atheist, a Jain A Buddhist, and a Baptist and Jew. And he knows he shouldn’t kill And he knows he always will kill You’ll for me my friend and me for you And He’s fighting for Canada. He’s fighting for France. He’s fighting for the USA. And he’s fighting for the Russians. And he’s fighting for Japan And he thinks we’ll put an end to war this way. And He’s fighting for democracy, He’s fighting for the reds He says it’s for the peace of all. He’s the one, who must decide, who’s to live and who’s to die. And he never sees the writing on the wall. But without him, how would Hitler have condemned him at Dachau? Without him Caesar would have stood alone He’s the one who gives his body as a weapon of the war. And without him all this killing can’t go on He’s the universal soldier And he really is the blame His orders comes from far away no more. They come from him. And you and me. And brothers can’t you see. This is not the way we put an end to war |

I believe in God, but not as one thing, not as an old man in the sky. I believe that what people call God is something in all of us. I believe that what Jesus and Mohammed and Buddha and all the rest said was right. It's just that the translations have gone wrong. Sal, I'd love a pot of tea with some shortbread. I'll take it over in the corner since it seems empty here tonight. I'll be about 30 minutes listening and sippin'. Additional info on Richard Strauss- Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30 ~~~ Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30 (Thus Spoke Zarathustra or Thus Spake Zarathustra) is a tone poem by Richard Strauss, composed during 1896 and inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophical treatise of the same name. The piece is divided into nine sections played with only three definite pauses. Strauss named the sections after selected chapters of the Nietzsche's book: 1. "Einleitung" (Introduction): according to the interpretations, it should represent the Creation or the coming of the new age of the Overman and so, because of its evocative and declaimed aspect, it is led back to the Overman's motto. 2. "Von den Hinterweltlern" (Of the Hereaftergo'ers): here the brass quote the gregorian cento "Credo in unum Deum" or "I believe in one God" to represent faith at the top synthesis. 3. "Von der groĂźen Sehnsucht" (Of the Great Longing): maybe it represents the age of "Sturm und Drang"; here there's a liturgical quotation from "Magnificat". 4. "Von den Freuden und Leidenschaften" (Of the Joys and Passions): the word to the strings, at the top tension; the trombones expose the theme of "Taedium Vitae". 5. "Das Grablied" (The Grave-Song): part where the strings prevail. 6. "Von der Wissenschaft" (Of Science): it is a fugue whose subject all only the twelve notes to represent scientism, positivism and maybe, to ridicule the rising dodecaphony. 7. "Der Genesende" (The Convalescent): it completes the tension of the previous movement, then, after a rough pause determined by a rip of the strings in the bass register, it starts again from the mystery to go to the atmosphere of the following movement. 8. "Das Tanzlied" (The Dance Song): the theme of "Taedium Vitae" is taken again trasfigured in a waltz. 9. "Nachtwandlerlied" (Song of the Night Wanderer): coda where the finale is suspended avoiding the cadence on the tonic. Paintings by J.M.W. Turner and Caspar Friedrich. Conductor: Georg Solti & Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The greatest thing you'll ever learn Is just to love and be loved in return. ~Nature Boy

Mind if I join you, Mamas? Been in a mood all day ..thinkin of goin into the woods and becoming a hermit. Can't stand a lot of people around me right now -even my kids are driving me crazy. Don't know if I'm mad or just sad, seems like I need to face the fact that the maiden in me is gone, the mother is done, and what's left is the crone. I feel homeless and rootless, restless and uneasy. |

I've always loved Jethro Tull...This dark mood has affected my daughter this week, as well. I have a family party to attend today ...would avoid it if I could, hut my daughter is coming and will spend the night with us. Don't know if I can don the mask of cheer very well but maybe trying will make it so. Sal, would you add a bit more Jamison to that coffee, please? Methinks it will be necessary, today.Hope there will be something a wee hit stronger than punch at the event. |

Good morning, Sal. I'm in a better mood today than I have been, must have been those two very dry martinis I had last night. Watched "The Life of Pi "too. Absolutely beautiful film, visually. Pretty, pretty. Still cold and snowy here in the northeast. A hot cup of tea and a toasted bagel will warm me up nicely, thank you. |
