Wookiecrisp, out of the hundreds of dreams I have each year, I have posted only a handful to UC. If you find any similarities, they will likely be found on another thread. (Message edited by anonarchista on January 04, 2006) Death Before Dishonour

Interesting dream last night, among many of course, but I was somewhere and I could feel invisible objects with my hands, and for some reason that made me afraid. I guess I'm still dealing with being afraid of stuff that's invisible. I remember a baby in particular, who reached up and gave me a hug and said she was sorry for causing my distress. I could feel something invisible far below her diaper, like her body extended much further down or something, and I squeezed and asked her if it hurt, she said yes so I let go. I remember feeling an invisible whip also, which made me afraid. Then I woke up in bed and I was really, really hot, like I'd just come back from some really higher vibration or I was really charged up from the fear. Oh well, live and learn... |

I dreamed about Whitley las tnight. I just remebered. I can't remember what I dreamed, though! Darn it! I remember standing there talking to him, thinking to myself, "Wow..he's really tall" He looked older in it, too. Like, about ten years older than he is now. "Baker baker baking a cake. Make me a day. Make me whole again. And I wonder what’s in a day What’s in your cake this time." -Tori Amos

Is This Anything? Dept. dream was, I was seeing a map - like the kind you see in geography class, with the land areas colored pink and green...scanning over a large area like Europe, but with no names where the countries were, then I was seeing a particular shape of a country. It was a land mass on the end of a narrower strip of land connecting it to the mainland. I wondered which country it was - England? No, that's an island. Today, while thinking about it some more, I got the strong notion : Spain. Looked it up, and sure enough, it was indeed Spain. I didn't have more information at the time - just this pink and green shape seen from high above, or like looking down on a map of the world. I was going to put this in the prophecy thread, but - no prophecy. I'm just saying, watch Spain. |

i've been having weird ones all week. last nght i was in this huge building. in the hall way...it looked like the hall in a hotel with all these doors and the walls were stucco pink. but it was something like an assisted living home or such. i started walking down this hall then realized it was sooooo long like about a mile so i turned back toward the entrance. on the way back there was a young girl or woman on a phone in the hallway. she had reddish brown hair in pigtails. but she was like frozen in time. i started running and as i went by her i gave her a swat upside her head to try to make her move. i get to the lobby and there's people milling around. a nurse is coming up the steps toward me and she gives me a dirty look. i leave. but i had the feel it was not a nursing home but something hidden. |

I've been having them, too. Last night I dreamed that my partner and I were back in the Southwest, where I'm from. We were driving outside some tiny town and got caught up in a mega traffic jam. So, all these cars are sitting still and my partner, who was driving, jumps out of the car and runs over to ask some people for directions. In the meantime, I decided to get out and run over to a little gas station and get a coke. Before I even get the coke, I see that the car is hooked up behind a pickup truck and they're dragging it over the hill. So my partner and I run after it, and there's this little hotel with these two women sitting in the lobby. They tell us that Mr. So-and So (I forget his name) is the most powerful man in the area and that he got angry because we left the car sitting in the road (for all of 30 seconds). So we go to this fellow's ranch and he looks like the old bar owner from "Northern Exposure", only mean. He gets snotty and tells his cowpokes to beat us up, so we all start fighting and then my partner jumps on the rancher guy. Then the cowpokes pull out guns. The rancher guy kicks my partner in the stomach and says something to me like "That'll teach your boyfriend." Then he tells his cowpokes, "Bury them." So then we somehow get away and are back at the hotel with those two ladies. The phone on the front desk is ringing and one of them answers it and lets us know that it's the rancher guy, and he's looking for us. Then she tells him to stop cussing. Apparently he doesn't because she starts banging the telephone receiver on the counter as hard as she can, and the other lady grabs the receiver and she does it, and they both just crack themselves up. Then I woke up. I think it took me longer to write about the dream than it actually lasted. |

I dreamed I was going into a small room. it was dark and there was no light. I did not want to close the door, but i thought, "Oh, come on, now, it is time to be brave." I closed the door. There was no air in the room. I could not breathe. All the air was gone. I died. I awoke gasping for air, convinced I had died in my sleep and moved on to another place, but I was here. I was frightened because I thought it might be sleep apnea. This happened Wednesday or Thursday morning, early, I do not know which day it was. Humans believe they are devils pretending to be angels when, in fact, the reverse is true.

This morning I dreamt I was stood in an anonymous room, with a beautiful man I have met in recent months over the internet. He was standing behind me, watching my back so to speak, as I vanquished a seriously nasty demon which looked like the most scary thing I ever saw in my life back when I was 17. My dream last night was very busy. It took place outside and inside a large stucco house with many people around. My sister was there again (sigh). We had some kind of deal going where she was to pay me a commission. She was to pay me an advance of $300 to $500. She was to pay me the balance when my job was done. Her son took two brown envelopes from under some kind of hiding place that held large stacks of money that he combined. He handed them to his Mom (my sister) and they talked about paying me in advance. My sister handed me $7,000. The rest of the money, she put into a wall safe behind her. In the dream, I go from room to room seeing and talking to many people. A niece opened a jewel chest and took out three necklaces that she gave to a young lady that I didn't know. One of the necklaces was a yellow topaz. The young lady and I go outside with lots more people around. Her father is there and wants her to leave with him. They get into a pick-up truck that is pulling a small camping trailer. I'm worried that he won't be able to get out since there are so many cars parked around him and he'll need to back up. He maneuvers the pickup and trailer between all the vehicles. At one point, he came so close to hitting a vehicle that I reached out, put my fingers under the metal seam of the trailer, and moved the trailer to keep it from hitting anything. I was worried about my fingers getting stuck between the metal and I can still feel how tight it was on my fingers. The pickup and trailer pull out to the road, I turn to say something to someone and look back and the trailer is gone. All that was their was the pickup and everyone is yelling that it's been stolen. I woke up. This won't be interesting to anyone but I find it interesting that I've dreamed so much of my sister. It's sounding like she has a message or something for me. Does anyone know if it's unlucky to dream of money? |

i think your dream is full of symbology. when we dream of money, i think it's rare that it is literal. it could denote abundance though...in some area. i'm afraid i can't offer much insight. although yellow topaz: positive energy, it's good for those in crisis or in need of motivation. it helps relax and comfort a person, it calms the nervous system and lessons tensions, sheds light on the path to your goals. this one is interesting...'those in tune with topaz's positive energy will feel limitless and philanthropic.' susi, Thanks for the info. The dream probably was mostly symbolic but that money sure looked good! haha! That's interesting about the topaz. I have a topaz ring, maybe I should start wearing it for the calming effect. BTW, that's my birthstone. |

slw maybe it was because of reading about your dream, but last night *I* had a money dream. i dreamt i won some sort of contest. first, a crew came to my home to give me a makeover, painting my toenails and doing my hair. i hated how they did my hair. they cut it short, dyed it blonde and made me wear a headband! lol then a car picked me up to take me to where i would be staying-vegas maybe. it was lush, with a pool, the whole nine yards. the as i went into the room, my escort casually says while smiling smugly, 'oh! look what they left you!' and there was an envelope with cash i could spend. $250,000. i was like, 'i've never seen a hundred thousand dolllar bill before!' dumb. |

nomie, I had the most amazing dream about you last night! It was evening and I had come to your house with about a dozen brown cardboard boxes, none bigger than about a foot square. You and your husband had been expecting me and were helping me place the boxes just inside your living room door. Now get this, I had come to install, an aquarium of all things, for you. But this wasn't just an ordinary aquarium, it was a holographic one. I had all the bits and pieces needed to set it up in the boxes. The next thing I remember, the phone started to ring and your hubby answered it. He was saying something like, yes you would both love to go but that it would not be possible. You then asked him what the call was about and he said that you were both being invited to a party and he was telling them that it was not possible to get a babysitter on such short notice. I had heard this and promptly offered my services. After all, I said, I would be there quite a while anyway installing the aquarium and since the little fellow was in bed asleep already it would be that much easier for you both to leave. After some hesitation the decision was made that you would go to the party. I waved goodbye to you both and settled in to setting up the aquarium. I was about half-way through doing this when I suddenly noticed that the little fella was by my side. He was curious to know about what I was doing. I explained to him about the lasers, which he was fascinated by, being necessary to construct the holographic images. I started showing him what to do in order to finish putting it all together. He was having a great old time helping me and once we had it up and running he would run his hands through all the different colored tropical fish and laugh hysterically when his hands kept going through them. It was getting rather late at this point and I could see that he was quite sleepy. I got him tucked up into bed and he was away and asleep almost immediately. Back in the living room I was feeling rather tired myself and lay down on the couch. I was watching the fish swimming round and round in the aquarium when I must have drifted off to sleep. The next thing I remember is waking up suddenly and right in front of me was the most amazing sight. I was looking at a life-size recreation of the nativity scene stable and all! It almost took up the entire room. It was so absolutely real and beautiful, and seemed to glow with a soft blue luminescence. I reached out to touch one of the figures expecting somehow for it to be a hologram but it was entirely solid. The figures were statues made to look as real as possible. The stable was a real construction too. I was absolutely amazed and wondered how it had gotten there. And why now. The timeline was the present so Christmas had been over for around 3 weeks. Another curious thing, there was a floodlight coming from somewhere in back of me that was shining, not on the baby Jesus as one would expect, but on Mother Mary. I was staring at this scene and it was so beautiful that I could not take my eyes off of it. Somewhere half hidden behind the stable structure I could see the face of a clock. The time said 3am. I then saw you nomie and your husband walk in the room. You were both saying something as you walked through the door. Then both of you had suddenly caught sight of the nativity scene. You came round to where I was standing to see if fully. I was saying to you, I don't know where it came from. I don't know where it came from. There was such an overwhelming sense of peace and profound love emanating from the figures towards us that all three of us just stood there with tears streaming down our cheeks. Pog Mo Thoin.

Last night was really strange. First, I had a brief dream about being angry with my wife because I believed she was manipulating me in regards to telling me what clothes to wear. She does buy me clothes, but it rarely bothers me at all that she may not like what I have on. The other dream was really intense. My wife and I were driving along a road towards a city. I looked up in the sky off to my left and saw the strangest looking UFO. This thing was huge! it was all black, and was not a disk but instead was made up of black rectangles and squares and it kept expanding and contracting in different areas, like it was unfolding, then folding back, as it moved along. It seems very menacing. I asked my wife if she saw it and she said no! I thought that was strange. The city was very stark and functional with lots of concrete and roads, and I remember saying to her that it looks like the evil ET's have taken over, since there were armed guards at checkpoints into and out of the city. Once we got inside, I decided that I had to escape, so we were running around trying to avoid getting captured. There were other people there and I was trying to warn them that it's all a trap but they didn't listen. I remember evading one guard and joining up with my wife for an attempt at a run down an off ramp-like road, then I woke up. whoa, I sure hope that's happening somewhere else and not here! |

Now you see it - now you can't. Control breeds the need for secrecy. |

yeah, it didn't have regular squares and rectangles but it was polygonal, if that makes any sense. It was more like the shiny black surface was quilted or something. It was very intimidating and it was up in the sky, really huge. |

Recently a voice clearly said to me, as I slept, "Now is the time of the great conflagration" Upon waking I had thought at first, it was about the world in general. (because it's a reference to fire) But decided, realized, it was more of a personal message to me. About my life, specifically. ::sigh:: I am so f-ing SICK of personal "conflagrations" Like Mary K. Bleige says, "Don't want no more drama in my life" Of course, it could have been both..a personal message about my life and also a message about the world at large. hmmm that's interesting nomie, I as well recently had a voice say something to me. It was on x-mas eve morning, actually. Right before falling asleep I heard a mans voice say "I'm on the offense now baby" I sat up and thought huh??? Then I had this bizzaro dream. I heard heavy metal music type sounds and when I looked to where it was coming from, I saw a man riding on top of a tank, followed by millions of soldiers. I just stood there watching them come over the hills. He pulled up to me & said "this is my sign" & he showed me some symbol with dots & lines connected to other dots or circles. Also a circle with an arrow. I had no idea what it meant. Then he jumped off the tank and said check me out I'm modernized, lol. He was wearing a helmet with horns and camo fatigues. Carrying a huge machine gun. He looked to me and said "let them know the god of war is here" LOL then he jumped up onto the tank and rode off into a parade with people cheering him on. I had no idea what it could have meant, I thought oh boy am I going to have to go on the offense in some situation? Until..... Later that day my son got an astronomical toy that projects the constellations on the ceiling. I looked up to the ceiling and yelled oh my god there is the symbol. I made him put it to the center so we could see what it was. It was ARIES when I looked it up later, I saw the other symbol was MARS. And would'nt ya know mars was in aries, lol. I also dreamed that week, that this was the end of the age and we just entered into a new sun cycle and into the age of aquarius. |

I awoke from a dream at 3 a.m. this morning. It took place in a literal dream world (or astral plane?) that was very dark and spooky. There were other entities there but I can't remember what they looked like, but it's a place that I've been before. The only way to protect yourself from the bad ones was to raise your hand with the palm out--sort of like saying "talk to the hand", only not. It was probably a nightmare but the only other thing that stands out in my mind is that, throughout the dream, I was hearing the song "Mad World" by Gary Jules. It's from the film "Donnie Darko". When I woke up, that song was still going through my mind and kept me awake for the next hour! |

I just googled the lyrics to "Mad World" and, oddly enough, these lines are included: And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had. |

Russ, I heard the Gary Jules version of the song "Mad World" a short while ago and it keeps creeping up on me now. I seem to be hearing it on the radio a lot and I find it running around in my head at odd moments. Of course given the title, maybe I shouldn't be surprised. That sparse arrangement gives the song a really haunting quality. Pog Mo Thoin.

Here's a link to an mp3 sample of Gary Jules singing "Mad World." It's about 1 minute and 20 seconds long. Mad World Pog Mo Thoin.

Russ: The only way to protect yourself from the bad ones was to raise your hand with the palm out--sort of like saying "talk to the hand", That is correct, more of a "stay right where you are" piece of hand-magic. I've used it to good effect, myself. And when I rotated the hand (palm out) their human appearance changed to a kind of Picassoesque abstract animal-mask appearance. |

starspirit! Aries is my sign and every once in a while for the past few years I will look up at the sky and think of the God of War. I feel this surge of power go through me whenever those moments occur. That is the coolest dream ever and I'm so jealous you had it and not me. Quigs stamps her feet in anger Oh and dirks dream of the stoic looking buildings and the evil ET's possibly taking over reminded me of the game Quake II. Except replace the ET's with Robots-type beings. "War is a racket...War is largely a matter of money. i had a funny little dream last night. i drove to this tiny town near me and walked to this tower type building. it was all run down, like a circular brick or stone tower. i went to the top and there was a little loveseat, an old oriental rug and a dog dish. i could see other parts of the town but my tower seemed private. the odd part was, i had obviously been there before, having brought the dog dish and stuff but it felt like that was my first visit. weird. i think it's telling me i need some 'alone' time. bryn dreamed he and his sister were crying because they lost their dad. i hope that wasn't one of his 'come true' dreams. |

or......if Bryn's dream is true....An old love ( building) a love seat ( the love you shared).. an old rug( the foundation you made)... A dog dish ( dog being a companion, but the dog isn't there).......I don't know. Just a thought. Hope all is ok. |

I had a dream many months ago. I was in a stable, early in the morning, preparing horses for mounting. I heard someone enter into the stable, which I thought was unusual. A man then proceeded to perform the same tasks as I. Awhile later I felt someone behind me, and I turned. A tall man with a flowing moustache stood there. He spoke and told me to hold up my hand, however, I could not look away from his eyes. He asked me if I could feel something. I did, and I felt something like a warm jello feeling against the palm of my hand. I then was able to look and see that nothing but about six inches of space separated our hands. He said, your no different than I am, and then turned and went about his previous tasks. I then dreamed of earlier observations of this man, of him addressing a king and a chambermaid. He always looked the same. |
